Organize with Cabinet Knobs
Need a place to hang your jacket? Your purse? Your necklaces? You want extra quick storage and to be a bit more organized. I got just the right thing… Cabinet knobs!

There are so many interesting choices out there. You can find knobs that reflect your style and personality. You can install them in any pattern you want. Pictured here I have them in a straight line; but you could really play up an architectural detail in your home, or mix them at different levels for the different height people living there.

It’s easy… All you need is:
- Some knobs any style, any size
- #8 hanger bolt about 2” long
- Plastic screw in corresponding molly
- Power drill
It’s easy … Here’s how:
- Screw in the molly with a Philips-head bit on the power drill
- Twist the knob onto the bolt side (the flat end) of the hanger bolt till it’s tight
- Screw the wood side (the pointy end) into the molly – twist till tight or flush to the wall

So Many Knobs
Now that you know how painless and cool this is, you need to know where to find the perfect knob. Your local hardware store will have a small to large variety to choose from. The big box hardware stores will have a selection in stock; they will also be able to order more unique ones too. Then, the high-end plumbing fixture stores will have a selection for you to take home and to order. Don’t forget to check out your local resale shops and Habitat for Humanity Resale stores.
